Hello, my name is Darby!  I am approximately 6-7 years of age and I am quite the active dog (that's what my fosters say anyways!).  I came to rescue because my owners were in need of care themselves and had to go into an assisted facility.  I do well with older children (it is unknown how I am with little ones*); and other dogs after I've been properly introduced and had the chance to warm-up to them.  I would do well on my own; or with another friendly dog.  I have 2 foster brother dogs and 2 foster cat siblings (but I prefer to chase them rather than make friends*).  I don't have a huge appetite, and eat only when I am hungry.  I LOVE to play and fetch toys and CHASE balls or anything else that Moves (pretty much!).  My foster family thinks I might be a good hunting dog/companion (with some training) because they always have to keep a tight hold of my leash when I go out because if I see a squirrel, rabbit, or geese; I want to BOLT after them!!  I have good manners and have the house-training down pretty well (they take me out every few hours just in case, because I am not vocal about it).  I am also crate-trained.  I can be quiet and lay down and relax also when it is necessary.   Please consider adding me to your family...I would love to go to my Fur-Ever home so I can re-settle.  (More pictures to be added/updated later)
